One of Calma Villa's great luxuries is choosing every morning between mountains and sea: the Blue Flag beaches of Sagunto and Canet are barely 20 minutes away. The perfect plan: beach in the morning, pool and hot tub at the villa in the afternoon.
Puerto de Sagunto beach offers almost three kilometres of fine golden sand with a promenade, lifeguards, beach bars and playgrounds: the best equipped, and the easiest with small children. To the north, Almardà is its perfect opposite: an endless strand backed by protected dunes, no promenade, no noise — space to spare even in August.
In Canet d'en Berenguer, Racó de Mar ranks among the province's best family beaches: a shell of superfine sand with shallow waters, the lighthouse at one end, a beach library and playgrounds on the sand. Further south, Puçol and La Pobla de Farnals add a local vibe and dinners by the marina.
In August arrive before 11 am for easy parking (Almardà is always easy). At Almardà, water shoes help children on the stretches of fine gravel at the shoreline. June and September are pure glory: half-empty beaches and perfect water.

It's our guests' favourite plan: beach in the morning (20 min away), pool and hot tub at the villa in the afternoon.
